Corporate Secretary

What is a corporate secretary

All companies incorporated in Malaysia are required to have at least one Company Secretary and that company secretary must be a natural person who has his principal place of residence in Malaysia and is a member of any one prescribed professional bodies or licensed by the Companies Commission of Malaysia.

Corporate compliance in Malaysia is a complex legal requirement for all companies registered in Malaysia. The Companies Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia in Bahasa Malaysia) governs the reporting/statutory obligations of companies and its officers. Our company secretarial team helps bridging the gap between what is required under the Companies Act and normal business owner understanding.
